Press Stone Italiana 40 Years

Stone Italiana at Marmomac.
Green ethos and an all-new material for our first 40 years of business.
Verona, 25- 28 September 2019
Hall 6 Stand C6
Stone Italiana has confirmed it will be taking part in the 54th edition of Marmomac, the international marble and natural-stone show taking place in Verona from 25-28 September – the perfect time to celebrate the company’s 40th birthday.
At Marmomac 2019, Stone Italiana will be presenting two innovations. The first is Cosmolite, the new material invented by Stone Italiana as concrete proof of its deeply ingrained ability to forge new frontiers: hi-tech, with a warmly hypnotic visual texture and made 100% from pre-consumer recycling of inert materials other than quartz, Cosmolite is the ideal surface for design projects based on environmental sustainability criteria.
The second novelty is the fruit of a new partnership with SCHOCK, a German company doing pioneering work in the production of quartz sinks. Like Stone Italiana, Schock is celebrating its first 40 years in business this year, as well as being strongly oriented towards research, innovation and international trend-scouting. The result of this cooperation between the two companies is EASYSINK, a new system for fastening the sink to the work surface (being previewed at Marmomac) which combines the aesthetic advantages of the sink merging seamlessly with the countertop with the flexibility and practicality of undermount sinks.
There is also room in the exhibition space for visitors to admire our trend colour for the coming year: Verde Silver. A play of progressive surface variations – monochrome Gloss, Grain, Rocface, Terrazzo and Cosmolite – gives life to the aesthetic and practical versatility of Stone Italiana surfaces, while the base colour symbolises the deeply felt commitment to the environment which has always been our distinguishing characteristic.
Stone Italiana - Creativity, versatility, production capacity and research are the keywords of a company that, since its establishment (Verona, 1979) has made its mark on the market with an avant-garde approach to producing engineered quartz and marble supplying slabs with varying sizes, particle size and thicknesses in order to make them adaptable to a whole range of uses. Witness to the transformation in the way of conceiving and using materials - almost a semantic revolution - Stone Italiana has reworked qualities found in nature, such as uniqueness, originality and variety, with high-performance solutions to satisfy an ever more demanding market.
